Today was one of those blue skies, still breeze and just loads of sunshine and summertime.
It brought to mind, simple, quiet, uncluttered . . .
Yes-Monochromatic will work.
I don’t do quiet very often but I should, it’s peaceful. . .
From head to toe.
Although, when it came time to BBQ, I had to add a little bit a fun.
Change of shoes, change of shirt, add a hat
and
I’m ready for someone to serve me . . .
I do love me some sunshine and summertime!
Look what else I found being still and quiet and enjoying the sunshine.

That precious and delicate outfit. I love the monochrome, and this yellow is great. The first proposal is very elegant and the second more casual, I like both, but the first excites me. I love the softness of the first shirt and knot detail at the waist. The second is perfect, hat, necklace and beautiful shoes. Beautiful photos in which you look very relaxed.

Thank you, Josep-Maria, I actually thought of you when I bought the first outfit (my thought was, this is a look Josep-Maria will like). I think I’m getting to know you quite well.

🙂 You’re so sweet and kind …

Thank you for showing me your summer, Trina… I do hope we will finally see the sun later this week!
Your all-yellow look is awesome; I saw you on Pinterest before I even got to your post this morning! Especially love your see-through knotted blouse, it is fabulous!

Trina this dress is a Wow on you! I adore your hair in curls. Plus the hat and red shoes add a fun and happy air. I think this is my favorite outfit of yours, just perfect for a summer day.

Thank you for both compliments, my hair is in that awful in-between stage of growing out the bangs and trying to decide on what new style to go with, thus the curls seem to help sometimes and a good hat is a life-savor.
Patti @ NotDeadYet Style says
Love both these all-yellow looks, Trina – you look wonderful in this pale color. And love the hat, of course! Thanks for sharing with Vis Monday xoxo

Always a pleasure and a privilege to share with Visible Monday.

You always wear my favorite shade of yellow. I love how cheerfully chic your outfits are – very “resort” looking. 😉

I love your compliment cheerfully chic, that just made my day, thank you!

I love that shade of yellow too! And how lucky to see the bald eagle! We get one in my front yard on occasion….xoxo
trinagrandinetti says
How fortunate are you to get one in your own front yard, now that would be picture worthy. Are they not the most incredible of all birds? So breathtaking.
No fear of fashion says
The first outfit with the see-through blouse is my favourite. So, so elegant. You look a dream.
And the first photo with the flares of the sun is GORGEOUS. I absolutely love it.
(Is that your swimming pool?)
trinagrandinetti says
Thank you Greetje, this was one outfit my husband even commented on (with approval, haha). I’m taking your advice or should I say, practice and trying to experiment a bit more with my camera and settings. It’s actually quite fun. Yes, the swimming pool is in our backyard. The weather gets very hot in the summer months here so it’s a fun and enjoyable toy to have. I guess it’s kind of a luxury but I like to think of it as a necessity, haha. I’m seriously thinking you should plan a trip here.
nofearoffashion says
Would be a great idea. How about getting some bloggers we both love together? Where exactly do you live? (You can email that info if you prefer).
Or how about a trip to Europe???
trinagrandinetti says
That would be so much fun. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. There is a lot to do here and its beautiful. We have gorgeous mountains you can hike or bike in, lakes I can take ladies boating in, my pool to relax in and the our city is beautiful, clean, and an incredible shopping center. Although I’m totally up for Europe too.

I usually like a classic look and you look great in it, it is just that when you add the red pieces it feels much more like the Trina I have got to know. In any case, you look lovely either way and so looks the pool!
trinagrandinetti says
Haha, you are right on the money with that, my dear. The red hat outfit is most definitely a Trina signature.
Jean at Dross into Gold says
All I can say is, although I like the second one, that first outfit looks INCREDIBLE!! For some reason the simplicity of it, and the shapeliness, along with those killer shoes is utterly fabulous. I love it on you. Sometimes less is definitely more, something I have a hard time remembering. Wow.
trinagrandinetti says
You are so right, sometimes less is more. I, too, have a hard time remembering this.

Oh! Oh! Oh! This outfit is pure lusciousness. Like Jean, I like both looks, but am simply swooning over your first look. You look heavenly, and you know it! Well done.
Trina, it’s always a huge compliment if you choose to mention me on your blog. Thank you so much!

And wearing lots of beautiful sun hats, I’m sure.

Pretty, pretty, pretty! Love the bag, shoes and hat you added, but I have to tell you that the lovely little dress and neutral heels pull at my heart strings … delicate yellow and quiet, thoughtful you. Beautiful, Trina.
Summer and Sun bring thoughts of our busiest season, and while those words had very different meaning when I was growing up on the west coast, here they mean that I need to start hoping the AC will last one more summer!
trinagrandinetti says
Jann, As I said to Greetje, the pool is a necessity now days as well as lots and lots of shade. I’m hoping to visit you soon during your crazy busy season.
Barbara @ allmylivesnow.com says
I love the pale yellow and once you added the red everything just popped. Living in Florida we have summer about 8 months out of the year. Grilling and hanging out around the pool with family and friends are happy times for me.
The Style Crone says
Your photos are always perfection. I love the pale yellow and the addition of playful accessories.
trinagrandinetti says
Thank you, thank you! The hat definitely made me think of the SC.
