RUGBY SEASON/STYLE

IT MUST BE RUGBY SEASON . . .

Because  everywhere I look (while out shopping that is) I spot rugby attire.  Now here’s the thing, first off I know absolutely nothing about rugby. As sports oriented as my family is, no one ever came close to playing rugby.  Second thing, I know I owned some rugby attire years ago – thank you very much closet purging. But with that being said, this years rugby style come back was just too fun not to join in.

When I first spotted this rugby shirt (from jcrew) in their catalog I was thinking maybe I could pull off the blue and white and just blend in with the crowd or possibly the pink and blue, but when I saw this fun green and blue combo it instantly put a smile on my face.  So, I’m now ready to join the rugby style season and apparently I’m on the blue and green team.

I chose to keep the style fun and casual today by pairing it with some converse and white cropped jeans (which by the way, really make it pop). 

And adding some leopard earrings (also from jcrew) to give a little accessory pop . . .

Although have you seen their rugby dresses??? I’m thinking I could easily join the pink and blue team for this one.

Are you joining any rugby team this season? And if so, were you smart enough to keep your older version safely packed away in your closet?
