What comes to mind when you think of wearing the basic combo of black and white?
Simple . . .
Classic . . .
Elegant . . .
I usually think simple and yet is there really anything simple about a black and white attire?
When I really think about it, I normally add some fun shoes for accent, or a statement necklace, or how about just adding a blouse with some statement sleeves, now that’s an easy fix.
When I was putting this outfit together the thought also occurred to me that the simplicity of a black and white outfit is a lot like our lives. They’re not simple at all, NOT ONE BIT! And either are we, none of us , none of you, my friends are just simple-you are EXTRAORDINARY. And just like this little black and white outfit that is going to be worn, it will also do some sort of speaking letting others know it’s not simple at all. So now my thought provoking question of the day is, are you telling your extraordinary story? Because if you don’t tell it, who will? If you post on instagram, are you also printing your memories off, are you keeping some sort of backup file? Are you in the habit of actually printing all those wonderful photo’s from you computer (on a monthly basis). I sure hope so because your worth telling your story and having it for generations to come.
Here’s a few ways I tell my story . . .
My monday’s with Molly post I print off each month and then Molly helps me put the pictures in a fun photo book. I know someday she’ll be too busy to spend every Monday with grandma but those memories will last forever. (I use persnickety prints for all my photos) *no, I’m not being payed to give them credit, I just love their work.
After I download pictures from a party I’ve thrown, I print as well as make them into an 8 x 8 picture book. What a fun way to share what I love to do with my family and friends. (I use shutterfly for my books)
As always my friends thanks so much for dropping by, have a fabulous Sunday.

Creating photobooks like this were the start, the seed for my blog. I loved it so much, I could be completely absorbed for days. I think it is a lovely idea to create this memory. Just hope Tori doesn’t go for nine children or you will be VERY busy haha.

PS and your outfit is great. Black and white is my favorite combination but not my best. Throwing in a statement necklace is what I do as well, creating colour near my face. Love the sandals too.

I’m laughing about the nine kids, I sure hope so as well but I think I’m safe. She’s got a lot of energy but not that much, haha. And yes, you are the pro at throwing on the best of the best when it comes to statement necklaces.
