WHAT’S YOUR REAL LIFE ‘GO-TO’ STYLE?

The other day I was chatting with my dear friend Tamera Beardsley and I had mentioned that the day was a no-make up kind of day at which time we both laughed and responded with “aren’t most days like this?”  I don’t know about you but on the days when all that’s on my agenda is staying home to catch up on organizing, cleaning, crafting, etc . . . I so no need to waste make-up and time. I kind of wish I put more of those days on my calendar.

The other days when I do have places to go and people to see I may or may not put a little on and pull my hair up or stick a hat on or if I’m feeling really motivated I just may use a curling iron or straightener really look like I’m put together (lol). But in all reality most days, especially summer days, are spent low key and fancy free.  And if you’re anything like myself you probably have a GO-TO staple item you tend to wear quite frequently . . .

This summer my real life go to item is this breathable dress I picked up at anthropologie (I waited for it to go on sale).  It can be paired as seen with some fun sneakers which makes it perfect for park days with grandkids, shopping days (which includes the dreaded groceries), and fun lunch dates.

I’ve also paired it with my gold birkenstocks for the same activities.

But the best part, when it comes to evenings and a possible date night or dinner out, I simply pair it with some heels and I’m good to go.

So, my friends, have you found the g0-to summer staple that even makes your hubby respond with “you must really like that dress” meaning I wear it way too often?  If so I’d love to see or hear about it.
