Do you have a basic (Go-To) summer uniform? You know, the kind of outfit or attire you can quickly put together, the kind that doesn’t take much thought, the kind that requires little or no accessories . . . and yet you still look put together, confident and ready to take on the day and night for that matter.
This is definitely one of mine . . . jeans, a tee, some some funky heels.
And talk about jeans this season, can they possibly get any cuter or stylish. I don’t believe there has ever been a season where jeans are so IN and the best part, there are absolutely no rules and not just ONE distinct style to choose from. I mean, we’re talking styles in every category from fringed bottoms, bell bottoms, cropped, flared cropped, bohemian styles, skinny, destroyed, embroidered, you name it, and most likely you can find one or two or three that fits your unique personality. (by the way, do you have a favorite?)
Today I decided on some destroyed (distressed jeans) from madewell which are a nice relaxed fit and I’m dressing them up a bit with a somewhat basic tee. A tee shirt embellished with sequins means absolutely no need for any other accessories, talk about easy peasy.
And then just add some fun funky shoes and your ready to go. I’m so loving the square heels this season, you can get some height and yet walk around all.day.long. and your feet still feel great.
Since the weather calls for heat today (in the 90’s) I’m sporting a top-knot tied up with a soft bandana.
