I would venture to guess we all have some type of basic uniform. I’m not talking about the school uniform or the uniform you may or may not have been required to wear to work, I’m talking about the one you gravitate towards when you’re in a hurry, the one you know fits your personality, the one that basically just works for you day in and day out.
I know some women who rock the athleisure wear as their basic uniform (my daughter being one of them), and I know other women whom their uniform consists of a carefully put together outfit every single day.
Although I love both the athleisure wear and a carefully put together unique outfit, I would definitely say my go to basic uniform consists of a T-shirt, trousers (usually jeans), and some form of jacket or cardi.
I know, so easy, so simple and yet so versatile.
For example, today I’m wearing a fun graphic t-shirt from the jcrew destination line, a pair of cropped pants, and a blazer.
It’s a casual look with just the t-shirt and pants as well as the fun heels.
But when paired with a blazer you instantly step it up a notch.
What’s your take on a basic uniform?

Well … I love your uniform, shirt, jeans, jacket … The uniform you wear today is beautiful, the shirt, the pants, the shoes … But I think the most important thing is that you will never see yourself in uniform, Why in each of your outfits you insert your personality, that personality that turns everything into wonderful.

You certainly know how to make my day. Thank you for always being so kind. It’s nice to know that my personality speaks through my outfits I wear. After all, it really is about expressing oneself, right?
