This is the month for holiday gatherings and party goings and to tell you the truth I don’t really have any ‘fancy’ parties I need to attend.
But does that mean a gal still can’t enjoy some shimmer and shine?
The only holiday parties I attend are either at my own home (big one tomorrow) or at our church or with the fam. Ok, we do give our employees a fun party but that usually consists of a Jazz game (really???). Anyhow I’m not going to pass up the chance to add a bit of shimmer and shine to my wardrobe.
Here’s a fun way to do just that in a somewhat casual way. This attire is a perfect outfit for lunching with my girlfriends or a dinner date with hubby. It’s not too over the top and it fits my lifestyle to a T.
Just slipping on a simple sequin top (Ann Taylor) with the same shade of pants still gives it a casual yet classy look. I paired it with some velvet skinnies which I plan to wear all winter long.
I decided to add some silver shine with a statement necklace, silver pumps, and then topped the entire outfit off with cream.
I’m now set for the entire day a little lunch date and later dinner.

I also absolutely love the white coat. I bought one years ago and have always thought it looks so sophisticated! Needless to say mine has gotten a tad dingy lately…I might have to reinvest!!
