Do you ever find yourself wondering what to wear during the day that can actually take you right into your date-night (without any changes involved)?
If you’re anything like myself, when you put an outfit together and get all ready, you only want to do it one time for that day. Therefore, when the weekend rolls around I put a little more thought into what I’ll be wearing for the day. I need/want an outfit that will be fun, casual, a little chic, comfy and versatile. A lot of these outfits tend to consists of skirts and/or dresses because they can be dressed down for a casual run around, do errands, meet up with some girl friends, even grocery shop if I really have to, and yet they can easily take me right into a date-night.
I guess this is where the boho vibe comes into play.
Whenever I shop for new items, especially a dress, I never purchase it if I feel it can’t be styled at least three different ways. I knew right when I tried this velvet slip dress on, I could easily pair it with a denim jacket making it very casual, pairing it over a tee (like today) or pairing it a lacy button with heels for a dressy version. (can’t wait to show you this one).
For today, pairing it with this tee, a simple necklace, and my jeffrey campbell booties, it’s a perfect all day-into-date-night outfit.
Has always my friends, thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful weekend!
