MONDAY’S WITH MOLLY -UPDATE

Why I decided to start a Monday’s with Molly . . .

When I told a few friends I was considering doing a Monday’s with Molly every week, it was actually in my mind to only do it for instagram.  But I decided once a month I would do an update showing some of our activities, just in case other grandparents want or need some ideas, or even you fun  young mom’s that may want to pass them onto your parents.

The real reason I decided to do a Monday’s with Molly post is for a keepsake memory for Molly.

See, I’m an old fashion scrap booker in my younger days and have always loved photography and making memories.  But with this new digital age it can be both wonderful and scary.  Wonderful in the fact that taking photo’s of our every activity is seriously at our finger tips.  Scary in the fact that we forget or (we simply just don’t do it) to print these memories off.

Therefore at the end of every month I send my photo’s to a printers (some right from my phone) and keep them in a memory book for Molly.

I’ve even made her a few 5 x 5 books from persnickety prints that she absolutely loves.  She makes up different stories about our activities and pictures everytime she looks through them.  I’m just hoping when she is 23 and then 33 and so on she will still treasure up these memories.

Here’s some memories to share, it’s actually Molly’s birthday celebration.

She requested a “PINK” party!  Shew wanted pink balloons, pink cupcakes with pink candles, pink presents, pink flamingos and a pink pool to play in.  We were happy to help throw her this little party.

We just couldn’t talk Papples (Molly’s name for grandpa) into dying  the pool water pink, haha.

Has always my friends, thanks for dropping by . . .

Do you still print off your pictures?  Do still make photobooks?

I can definitely see you doing this exact same thing in the future my cute friend. And when the time comes I’ll share more info with you on the books.

I think she will treasure these memories as I know you will. From one previously avid scrapbooker to another ; )

How wonderful to see such a happy family. Great bliss. Oh and the fathers are hunks. Like the mothers are beauties.
Such a pretty child comes from that.

What a great idea an loving gesture. Surely she will treasure this as she gets older, and you will inspire others, too. I can not wait for grand children, but alas, my grown children move at their own pace. But I can come here, and enjoy, so thank you. Thank YOU!
