Since September is right around the corner (Ok, I know it will be here in two short days) and for some reason that always equates to fall.
Which, don’t get me wrong, fall is lovely in every sense (except that it leads into winter). But it’s still in the high 90’s here and I’m not about to put on sweaters no matter how light weight they are, or long heavy pants, or closed toed shoes that may require socks, or any type of layering.
Therefore, this is one of my ideas of a little fall transitional piece.
LET’S SIMPLY PULL ON A CAMEL COLORED LINEN SKIRT . . .
This brings a just a bit of fall with its warm color tone and yet I can still be nice a cool since it’s really still summer weather.
I’m pairing it with a fun graphic tee I found at a local boutique and my trusty and ever so comfy navy sliders I purchased last year at Ann Taylor.
And if it does decide to chill down in the evening I can add my denim jacket.
Are you transitioning yet?
*by the way- the linen pencil skirt is now on sale at Ann Taylor.

Fabulous skirt! It’ll transition beautifully well into fall! It looks great with the graphic tee and the denim jacket!

It is so dang hot here still I cannot think about it yet. Summer dresses and not much else is happening.
I have been shopping my butt off and picked up loads of suede and boots though in preparation : )
I adore the colours here. Especially that caramel colour that makes up most of my wardrobe.

Love this Trina! I am with you all of the way. As much as I want fall to be here, it really doesnt happen until end of Oct beginning of Nov in NC. Makes it tricky when you want to show Fall fashions. I adore this color skirt on you, perfect for reminding us of fall, and love the buttons down the front! great look with the jean jacket
Have a great day!

No transition yet. I did buy winter clothes, but it is still hot summer here in The Netherlands. Surprise surprise.
You did a very good job of transition. What a lovely T-shirt.
