Spring in the Rocky Mountains comes and goes, one day you may wake up to sunshine and 60-70 degrees and the next day it may be snowing or raining. So when we get a sunny day and the daffodils are smiling upon us, I don’t need any pushing to get me outdoors.
One of my favorite ways to embrace spring is to pull out my spring/summer dresses. This heather dress is light weight enough to carry me all through summer and fun to layer with on these early spring days when the temps are still a bit low.
It was a day to pull out my light weight bohemian bag and fun peace pendant (made my me lovely friend Tamera Beardsley )
Spring also (in my book) is a time to put the tights and hose away and let my legs have a breather. I’ve worn this dress with sandals but today my lace brogues were just calling out for some attention.
Welcome home Spring, you’re more than welcome to stay as long as you want.
So, are you enjoying some spring time weather and if so, how are you dressing for this occasion?
Thanks so much for dropping by my friends, have a most wonderful day.
Outfit details: I hate to disappoint you but I really shoped my closet this time. The cardigan was from anthro-three years ago, the dress from a boutique, which by the way I’m finding is a really fun way to fun unique items, the shoes- bronx brand from nordstrom but also a few years old. So the lesson here, it’s just as much fun to shop in your own closets than spend money at the shopping malls.

Hi Trina, you really gave me spring fever when I pulled up your post. I love anything bohemian, I guess it’s because I grew up in the sixties and seventies. I love your shoes and have been looking for some that I can wear with anklets. Thank you for your inspiration my friend. xx Jo
You’re so welcome my friend. I too, love anything bohemian.
So, so fresh and pretty, Trina! The peace necklace (by Tamera!) is a wonderful touch, as are the socks and booties. Enjoy your Spring, xox

Awe, thank you Patti. And, I do plan on enjoying spring time weather, just wish it lasted a bit longer (like all summer as well).
I LOVE this outfit – it’s fun, it’s unique, and it looks smashing. A bit of hippy chic. Your legs look amazing. You’d need those sunglasses if I were to flash you mine. Hahaha! I’m glad you’re enjoying springtime in the mountains. You’re dressed to accomplish anything! Your bag and the pendant from Tamera are gorgeous.
Wow, all coming from the woman who makes dressing unique and smashing look so easy . . . you just made my day. And I’m sure your bare legs look just fine with or without sunnies.
Well, we just had a blizzard yesterday…so no spring here yet. Stupid weather.
We have unpredictable weather as well. about 3 weeks ago it was 22 C and sunny. Short weather.
Now it feels like we are in December again.
My daffodils are sitting under 6 inches of snow. I hope they aren’t dead now.
I love that handbag!
bisous

We have plenty of those stupid weather days here as well. That’s why when the sun comes out, its time to bare the legs, right? And the handbag-target!
A beautiful dress and a wonderful look.
Thank you my friend.
If I had your closet, I would love to shop in it too 🙂 Love this spring boho look Trina!

Hope to see you Thursday for TBT Fashion link up.
Let’s not even talk about your closet, my friend. Or should I say closets becuase there is no way you could possibly fit all you clothes into one, unless you are fortunate to have one of those huge walk in closets.
Very Boho my dear. With that touch of romance. Reminds me of the seventies. Love the shoes. I still do not get any email warnings when you publish a new post. The system has gone on the blink.

Trina, this look is so soft and delicate, and so perfectly layered, that it is hard to tell where one piece ends and the other begins!I love the macrame bag, the floral sweater, and the shoes. I have a similar pair.
I am glad you shopped your closet.
I also love the daffodils, the perfect sunny color!
Lovely post!
