Happy Easter my friends!
Wishing I could share some of my yummy treats with you . . .
As I mentioned Friday, this Easter I’m all about simple and traditional.
(does it get any more traditional than carrot cake for dessert)
I pulled out my pastel (bunny) skirt and adding a fun pop of pink with some tights.
Sometimes an element of surprise can change the look of any outfit.
Hoping you all have a wonderful and joyful day.
Linking up with all the fun bloggers for Patti’s visible Monday.

Hi there, found you on the linkup. I would have never thought about pink tights, but seeing them here, I HAVE TO HAVE SOME. Beautifully balanced pastel look, which is not easy to do. *applause*

Well, one guess where it came from?

Fun tights. I was in such an Eater mood too, so I dressed in my yellow tunic dress (see here: http://www.nofearoffashion.com/2013/02/yellow-ladress-tunic-with-skinnies-html).
And I had a sticker on saying “happy egg” haha.
We had lots of neighbours round for coffee and lunch. I didn’t dare to photograph my table with goodies as you would have been appalled. But my neighbours aren’t used to extravagance like your tables, so they thought it was great. Besides, the fact we all came together was a bonus to everyone. We had about 11 grown ups and 8 kids running around. Well the kids did the running, digging up our garden to hide chocolate eggs haha. I found 4 afterwards and learned that Ron already found a bunch and threw them over the fence. Afterwards he warned the neighbours to look for them. I boiled 60 eggs of which 3 were eaten…. Everybody left the house with a bag of food. No way were we to eat the whole lot by ourselves. The nextdoor neighbours handed us egg salad in the afternoon which they had made haha. Great street, great neighbours. Nobody wants to move.

This just made my Monday, hearing how much joy you had yesterday. You have the right idea, the getting together is what its all about. Anytime you can open your home, yard and yourselves to others is what life is all about. It really doesn’t matter what the home, the table or ourselves look like, its the thought that matters and the memories and joy others feel is what they take home with them. You are one fun spirited lady, sure wish we could be neighbors.
Love the thought of you wearing that awesome yellow tunic with your sticker (I need to try this some year, Molly would love it).
And, I would NEVER be appalled at your table. Seriously if I compared myself with others I would never post another fashion or style post again.
By the way . . . July is getting closer, yay!!!
