MENSWEAR

Sometimes there’s trends that simply need to be embraced . . .
menswear3
The latest trend of menswear didn’t interest me until . . .

I spotted these . . .
menswear1
Seriously ???

They are the most comfy, versatile in color, and just a little edgy.

I actually bought these shoes with all intentions of wearing them with my skinny jeans . . .

But this hat . . .
menswear2
paired with this midi skirt seemed to take right over, giving it a relaxed and on-the-go look.
menswear4
menswear6
(also perfect for travel)

But don’t be fooled, I still have that feminine side and love my heels.
menswear7
With a change of shoes, a simple tee and blazer . . .
menswear8
menswear9
You get a whole different look.

I like how you’ve changed the mood with a change of the shoe! I am looking at menswear oxfords for Fall too, thanks for the inspiration and for linking up! xo

      Patti,
You will thoroughly enjoy having a pair of menswear oxfords, I find myself putting these on almost everyday lately.

Yes I like the men shoes with the hat outfit but I am afraid I cannot shake my old-fashioned preference for the second outfit. And thise red shoes are sooo good. You could be my shoe shopper without having to ask my consent before puchasing. Such a pity you actually need to feel how they fit. It would be such a good deal (for me). LOL

Now how fun would that job be? A personal shoe shopper . . . I like that idea.

Trina, I first have to say that I love how you post simply flows in a very unique way. Those oxford shoes are awesome and I can see why you fell in love with them. Now, I will admit that my favorite look was the tee with the jacket and the red shoes:-) Great post, I enjoyed it very much! XOXO, Jeannette

Thank you Jeannie, I also prefer the look with the red shoes. Although these oxfords are so comfy they call my name quite often lately.

I don’t think I can choose between these two outfits – they are so different and perfect in their own way! I have a pair of oxfords that I adore and I have been wanting a pair of silver ones.

BTW, i hope you will join me this Thursday for Throw Back Thursday fashion link up.

Isn’t it fun how a pair of shoes can change an entire ensemble?

I think both looks are perfect, very different. But we have different moods, too, and on some days you need something a bit more relaxed or edgy…

Totally agree, Tiina, and isn’t it great a woman can have shoes for every mood she’s in? Haha, that’s one thing my husband has a hard time understanding.

Love both the looks! I’d wear both of them right away. I especially love the shirt with the typewriter on it…where did you get it?

You’re wearing that menswear look like you invented it! I love the red heels, too, but what I really admire is the consistent ease of all of your looks. That “I don’t really have to try” vibe that is the essence of everything you do. Perfect, as usual 😉

Such a cute combo, Trina … adorable in any shoes, but you make these little brogues work so well. I’ve been playing with this menswear-for-for the feet a little, but have only gotten as far as a pair of black and white Keds . You make everything so effortless, lady!

Trina, I am such a fan of brogues! These work so well with the hat! I love the stripe and denim with it ,too, it is more sporty, so you are really reaching into the trend pool and coming out with many of them, looking smashing together,
Love the second outfit too, the graphic tee with the houndstooth= LOVE. The red shoe is divine,
But if forced to choose.. I would go for outfit number one, it seems cozier!
