This season I was bound and determined to find the perfect pleated skirt.
One that was classy and stylish yet functional and fun.
One that I could pair with several different shoes.
One that could be versatile.
One that could take me ‘skirting’ around town in all different ways.
I think I may have found the ‘perfect’ one (at least for me).
So far I have worn it with my navy patent leather shoes, bringing out the navy undertones.
I have dressed it up with lace and pearls.
I have had some fun by pairing it a floral linen tee, some denim and leather sandals.
And, sadly when mother nature decided to bring some winter back, I threw on a comfy sweater and my booties.
Yep, I’m thinking this little number is going to be a whole lot of fun this season.

I love pleated skirts, this is beautiful. The look with the lace and pearls is wonderful, a great elegance. I also like the others, but that’s really special.

Beautiful skirt. Very special. Right length in my book. Love it most with the denim jacket and the pink rose shirt. Fun. Love the sand coloured shoes and the beige bag (gorgeous). Also like it with the black and white sweater. Yes you will indeed get a lot of wear out of it.

I’m on the fence about wearing pleated skirts. Sometimes they can add too much bulk to my lower half. Like you, I need to find the perfect one.

It’s a good thing this isn’t a competition…you know, Trina vs Trina…because it would be hard to choose a winner! Having said that, the look with the denim jacket sings to me! I love this look so much! The weight of this skirt is a real winner! Not too heavy looking, and the stripe is just too cool!

I do like a good skirt and this one is a beauty. I really like your fearless styling Trina. I like seeing all the different options. I appreciate your collection of patented leather shoes and accessories. I love the last combination so much, i’d call it double stripes. I’m on Pinterest now and see so many women in our age group showing conservative styling. I know there’s a place for this, but I prefer a bit more flash and fun in dress. You seem to also!
