Lucky me . . . that I have wonderfully fun friends.
Lucky me . . . that I have wonderfully loving kids.
Lucky me . . . that I have a wonderfully giving, entertaining and loving husband.
Lucky me . . . that I have a wonderfully healthy body and attitude.
I don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day like I use to by making green pancakes, green sandwiches, green rice crispy treats, etc . . . and then dressing my kids for the day in their all green apparel.
But, I was thrilled to see the tradition has now began with my daughter and Miss Molly.
For me I’m getting ready to play leprechaun and deliver some treats . . .
because it’s always fun to receive some type of gold at the end of your rainbow.
(this little treat is just a small succulent plant covered with burlap and this handmade tag)
(or you can run to your local thrift store and buy a few tea cups and fill them with candy, I chose green rock candy)
Now I’m not so old that I can’t put on some green attire for the day.
Here’s my grown-up version of adding just a hint of green to my ensemble.
Put on a bright green blouse.
Add some green shoes to your outfit.
You can still have some fun with green and keep it grown-up and professional.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, my friends . . .
LUCKY ME, FOR HAVING YOU AS FRIENDS AT THE END OF MY RAINBOW.

That picture of your daughter and grand daughter is gorgeous! And you are looking great as always. St. Patrick’s is a pretty big deal in our house…. my son can’t wait to see if the leprechaun stop by our house in the morning. We have a tricky friend that turns all the toilet water green and leave him coins. Hope you had a wonderful St. Patrick’s day!

Alice, I truly miss those fun and crazy days. I sure hope you had a wonderful time playing leprechaun.

Happy Saint Paddy’s Day to you too Trina! Molly is a little sweetie! I did wear green today…mostly to please one of my colleagues; she has so much fun with every holiday, I can’t help but join in.
trinagrandinetti says
Don’t you just love people and friends like your colleague? They always seem to make every day so much more enjoyable. So, what exactly did you wear?

We don’t have St. Patrick’s Day in Holland. But I love that Tori is following in your footsteps and dresses herself and Molly in green (such an adorable picture).
You look very very very good in this outfit as well. Love everything about it, especially the shoes!!

I’ve always wondered why we have it (that holiday here as well), but you know me, any excuse to have some fun and redecorate is a great excuse. I really did have some fun with this day when I taught school.

Happy belated St. Patrick’s Day! And what a precious little baby! You looked perfect for the day, and those shoes are gorgeous! (Green is one of my favorite colors!)

Thank you, I need to go look for some of your fun green attire. Let me know when they are or were posted.
Mary Murnane says
I sure will! Just getting into the swing of things with my style posts and haven’t worn any green yet. It’s been so darn cold here! I’ll be thrilled when the warmer weather arrives 🙂

Quick question, I just left a comment on your recent (great) post about maintaining our blonde hair, but it doesn’t seem to be saving. By chance are my comments going to your spam? I hope not, let me know what I need to do.
Mary Murnane says
Just found your comment in my spam folder – thanks so much for alerting me, Trina. I never think to look there, but I will certainly check from now on.
Have a great evening!

Molly is growing up beautifully before our very eyes. And you are stunning in your hints of green. The shoes would be on my feet if they crossed my path!
