REFLECTING ON A MONTH GONE BY
Yes, I skipped town . . .
Actually, I flew away . . .
To a vacation of a lifetime
And if you do not follow me on facebook or instagram I gave you no notice . . .
please forgive me and join me once again as I get back to my blogging journal.
SINCE ARRIVING HOME I HAVE BEEN ASKED THIS QUESTION SEVERAL TIMES . . .
WHAT WAS MY MOST FAVORITE SIGHT ? ? ?
(a travel note: we traveled from The Loire Valley of France to Paris-to-London-to-Yorkshire-to-many sights in upper England-to-Wales-onto-Bath-and-Home)
IF I RELFECT BACK TO MY FAVORITE SIGHT . . .
I SAW SOME OF THE MOST GRANDIOSE OF CASTLES
AND GARDENS
AND SCENERY THAT TOOK MY BREATHAWAY
TO THE MOST HUMBLE OF BEGINNINGS
SO AS I REFLECT BACK . . .
IS THERE A FAVORITE ? ? ?
NO
THE MEMORIES, THE LAUGHTER, THE FRIENDSHIP
THE OPPORTUNITY OF STANDING IN PLACES I HAD ONLY READ ABOUT
AND ARRVING HOME TO A LOVING AND SELFLESS HUSBAND
THOSE ARE MY FAVORITE .
AS ALWAYS, MY FRIENDS, THANKS FOR DROPPING BY . . .
I’VE MISSED YOU ALL
I was wondering what happened to you! What exquisite photos. It sounds like this was the trip of a lifetime.
Rebecca, it was quite a trip but it’s sure nice to be back home.
That most beautiful pictures are landscapes and precious places. You look very elegant, I love your polka dots jacket.
Josep-Maria, it is easy to capture beautiful landscapes in that partof the world. Every where I turned the landscape took my breath away.
So glad you had a wonderful time … indeed, a dream vacation. Extra happy to have you back with us again, safe and sound.
Jan, it so nice to be back safe and sound. I can’t wait to catch up with all you’ve been posting.
What a wonderful photos, what a great memories, what a lovely home-coming. Thanks for sharing. I can feel the love and lovelyness. How on earth do you make such sharp photos? I never get them like that (and it is not the camera haha).
You are too funny. As for my photo’s, all I can say is it takes lots and lots and lots of practice. I’m still trying to figure out the secret of indoor lighting. I’m also quite picky about what I decide to capture on film (or memory card). I really look at what I see in the little box before I click. One trick I’ve learned when you want to capture a great photo, zoom in as close as possible to the subject or moment you’re trying to capture. Does this help? I also play around with lighting and my aperture setting for each picture.
When I saw your photo on Pinterest (thanks to Josep-Maria) I was confused and asked myself why I haven’t visited your blog recently… now I understand! You took some time off for travelling.
Your photos are amazing, so very sensitive, almost meditative. I really enjoyed them, Trina and you must have had a wonderful time. I love England a lot (memories…) and I am going back there next weekend.

So happy that you had the trip of a lifetime! Gorgeous photos. Welcome back and you were truly missed.
Thank you Judith, I just finished reading the great article you were featured in, you are a definite icon. Look forward to getting caught up. By the way, I didn’t do a whole lot of shopping in London but I simply couldn’t resist the hat shops. I carefully carried 4 new hats home on the plane and thought of you each step of the way.
Wow what beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing them with us. Sounds like you made some fabulous memories!
