Mine does not have silver bells and cockle shells or pretty maids all in a row.
It has geraniums, some petunias, alyssum, zinnias, daisies and some lillies here and there.
This is the way I painted my garden this year.
I love placing yard ornaments around, it’s a great way to express my personality.
My backyard is mostly cement and a pool, therefore I use lots of flowering pots to make it feel as if your still in a garden.
My new arrangement of flowering kale (can’t wait to watch them grow).
Does your soul get fed as well as mine when you work in your garden?
Thanks for dropping by my gardens, have a wonderful day.
Trina, you have green fingers (in Germany we say “green thumb”) but also a great sense of colours and decoration. Your garden looks gorgeous and I love the colours you chose.
We are expecting frost and sleet on Friday… it’s end of May and it’s dreadful. I have to wait before I can start and put the flowerpots outside.

Lady of Style
Annette, I wish I could fly you here to enjoy some beautiful sunshine for the weekend. At least you know that it will soon be heading your way. I truly appreciate your compliments, I love getting my hands in the dirt.
Hi hi… me and working in the garden… quite a contraction. I cannot distinguish plants from weed. So I admire you for creating such a pretty garden. Looks so lovely.
Greetje, I just love how funny, honest, and so down to earth you are. I also admire your self assurance, that’s probably why you’re so funny, your self esteem is great!
Since I blog, I get more comments like these. And it always surprises me. I don’t do or say anything special in my opinion. How do you “translate” not being able to distinguish weed from plants to “self assurance”?
Greetje, the self assurance comes from being able to to tell people the truth about yourself and making us laugh along with you. a lot of women would never admit they can’t garden or don’t like gardening (which is all right by me, we each have our own hobbies), yet you quickly admit these things with honesty and humour. I seriously love this quality about you.
Somehow I’m not surprised to see such a lovely profusion of color and artistry!! I love it. I have lots and lots of houseplants, but the outdoor gardening tends to be more my husband’s domain. I love container planting, though, and find that it suits me quite well. I’m inspired by your beautiful pool area. I can imagine wonderful warm weather gatherings there, for tea or otherwise!! 🙂
Jean, you’re such a sweetheart. Thank you for the compliments. I would love for you to join me anytime for tea by the pool. My girl friends and I do have some relaxing afternoons by the pool, but most often it’s a family evening affair.
What a lovely garden. A great place for afternoon tea I’m sure.
I love how you’ve placed your ornaments. I need some of those for my garden. They add such personality.
bisous
Suzanne
Suzanne, the ornaments do speak your name, don’t they?
Trina, I love your garden, it is beautiful and it shows your personality, funny, sensitive and beautiful. I wish I had a house like this, live in it must be very relaxing.
Josep-Maria, it is a great place to retreat to (after the hard work is done). You’re welcome to visit anytime.
Thanks Trina, I have a bit far, but thanks.
