Ever take inspiration from your surroundings?
With this color palette, I just couldn’t stop myself. It called for a BRIGHT Orange kind of day.
Being that it’s Spring and not Summer I still had to throw on a simple jacket but that just added to the brightness.
For a little fun, I opted to wear my scarf as a head piece. Perfect idea for a windy kind of day.
And, as you can see I wore the dress over my white capri’s. It’s long enough to wear alone which I plan to do when the weather gets warmer but I decided to try the trend of (wearing a dress over pants) a try. I quite enjoyed it. I owe Sylvia at 40 plus style a thank you for challenging and giving me this idea.
It proved a perfect opportunity to jump on my bike.
Nothing better than feeling the breeze of fresh spring air.
*Little Reminder
Today is Earth Day
Celebrate by taking care of the earth in some way. . .
riding a bike to save on gas
planting a new tree
join a local community group to do some outdoor clean-up
How will you celebrate?
I’m now heading over to Patti’s for visible monday (hopefully some of you ladies will be cleaning up the earth today). Have a wonderful time doing so.

I love everything about this – the colorful inspiration, the dress-over-pants, the terrific scarf and riding a bike! Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday : >

Look at you! Ride that bike! Most fashionable biker I’ve ever seen!
I get inspiration from nature ALL the time. Love the colors!

Thank you Jeannie, I did get some crazy looks from the neighbors, but then I don’t know why, they should know me by now, haha.

I love the Oriental Poppies and the fact that they inspired your whole look today! I’m a big-time advocate for wearing tunics and dresses over pants – such a great look! I’ll be back – I’m lovin’ your style!

Just lovely, all those oranges and yellows – and leopard! The shot on the bike is the best!

I loved you blog and plan to visit often.

Love the bright colors of nature for inspiration. Pretty sandals and lovely dress. I also like Sylvia’s idea of wearing tights or slim pants with a shorter dress. You look ready for fun!

Love the shoes and the bright colours. Not to keen on your scarf around your head. Call me old fashioned. And riding a bike… so Dutch, my sister!!!
trinagrandinetti says
I can’t see you wearing the scarf on your head, its definitely not you at all, but I’m still on the crazy personality side once in awhile, it always gets a laugh from my husband. We also do a lot of biking in my neck of the woods.
nofearoffashion says
Oh please stay your crazy self. You might be a light beacon and make me crazier as well. So much fun being different. Makes the world nicer.

Good to see you, Always Bright Trina! So cute ,,, there’s a hint of incognito movie star going on here. You look wonderful, as always. I’m so far behind in comments … I don’t always get to say how much I like what you’re doing.
I celebrated by rejoicing in the respite from the horrendous smoke from our barbarian neighbor’s burn pile. They didn’t burn ’cause they were out of town. May they travel often. Arrrgh. Hack. Sniff. Wheeze.
trinagrandinetti says
Always good to hear from you, Jann. That doesn’t sound like celebrating to me, next year I’m either going to fly you here so you can spend the day planting beautiful trees or biking with me or I will fly there and find some fun way to celebrate.
