I’ve heard (and read) that coral and mint are a good combo for this Spring so I did some closet shopping this time. Yes, I was quite proud of myself, everything came from my recent closet.
Now I want your opinion, do you prefer the mint shirt or the cream shirt? I’m still trying to decide. I do know that if I wear the mint shirt again, I will be wearing my gold flats or gold sandals (I don’t really like too much of the same thing).
One lesson or rule I try to keep (which I broke here) is when bringing out a fun color, only wear it once. What do you think of this rule.
I think I’ll now go closet shop for some other Spring combo’s. Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful day.

I actually like the mint shirt and a lot of times this is referred to as book-ending when you have two touches of it. I am big on doing that, so weigh my opinion with that in mind….

Thank you Tracey, and I truly value your opinion. Guess I can keep the mint shoes as well.

That beautiful, soft colors in this look. It’s a stylish outfit, delicate and sweet. I love it. Your pants are beautiful and the jacket too. I love your shoes, they are cute. You look beautiful in this look.

Oh my…I need a close up of that necklace!!! It looks so unique.
I love the whole look. That jacket is divine.
I think I too prefer the mint t-shirt.

Thanks for dropping by today, that makes two for the mint.

What a fabulous, soft and stylish look, Trina. I like the mint tee best, although both looks are terrific. Thanks for sharing with VisMonday.

So far I’m wondering why I even tried the cream, thank you for your input.
Spashionista says
I vote for the mint tee as well. They both look great but the mint is better suited to go with the coral. I’m in love with your jacket, too. All of this works incredibly well on you!

I think you may be right on, it probably is more suited with the coral.

Trina, love love your look here so much! Such pretty colors!
Love the heels, too!
I vote for the cream shirt….just my preference. 🙂
trinagrandinetti says
Yay, I can now keep wearing both! Thanks for dropping by today, does this mean you made it home from your ski trip?
gracefully50 says
Yes, we’re back… in once piece! 🙂

I also vote for the cream T-shirt. Your rule of using a fun colour only once is always completely ignored by me stupidly enough. I make far too many “matchy/matchy” outfits. I like your rule so much better, but have no clue how to implement it. Strange really, as it does not sound that difficult, now does it? I admire you for this rule and how you always surprise me. Definitely the cream shirt.
PERFECT outfit. And so spring-like. Love it.

You are too kind. We each have our own unique style and I love yours as well. I think that’s what makes this whole blog friendship so much fun.

Love this combination. I am amazed at your shoe collection! I have never even seen a pair of mint shoes, and here they are on you! It makes me want to explore the wonderful world of colorful shoes. Alas, it’s a predicament for me because of a narrow foot. (I wish my hips were similarly narrow:-)
trinagrandinetti says
I, too have a very narrow foot so these would be ok for you. There have been plenty of shoes I have had to pass up due to this problem. I hear you with the hips, wouldn’t that be a nice problem?

Mint, please. White is cute, too. You look very pretty, of course, and nobody styles an outfit like you do, Trina.
trinagrandinetti says
Yep, I agree, mint it is. Although I think I’ll go with a pair of gold shoes. Thank you for helping me out.
Jean at Dross into Gold says
I think it’s unanimous- mint! It’s luscious with that jacket and pant combination. The shoes are gorgeous too, but as you commented, perhaps too minty for this outfit. Hmmm…how ’bout the white/cream shirt, mint shoes and…well, could be jeans or a skirt. I can see that color shoe with brown, too. I suspect you’ve got any number of fabulous ensembles just waiting to come together. 🙂
trinagrandinetti says
What great suggestions, I think I’ll give them a try this week. Thank you for the fun ideas.

Still prefer the cream. It sets of the rest of the outfit better and is a better stage for the necklace. I am being stubborn here. haha. Wish I had that outfit. Then again, it would not look as good on me as my figure is diffent from yours. Oh goodie… while I am typing this, the sun comes out. YEAH
