THE EASIEST WAY TO DRESS UP A SPRING TABLE

What’s the easiest way to dress up a spring table? Buy bunch of fresh daffodils.

It’s seriously as easy as it sounds. They are the happiest of happy flowers and can brighten up any table in an instant. You can find them at most any local grocery store for around $1.50 a bunch which when opened and bloomed they go along way.  I would recommend buying them closed because they will open over night as soon as they drink some water.

Many of my readers ask if I keep my table set all the time.  The answer is yes. And why would I do this . . .

Well for starters it’s just a fun and creative outlet for me to decorate my table.

Second, it brings instant joy to my home and sets the stage as an invitation for all to stay for a while.

Third, it’s always ready for service and isn’t that what a table is all about . . . to serve others?

If you’ve been following me for a while you do know I have quite the collection of dishes.  My collection began the year I got married, I’ve always had a passion for entertaining and decorating therefore collecting accessories to go along with this is just like collecting jewelry to go along with your outfits, right?

For today I’m just adding those happy daffodils to some of my old garden plates and calling it good.

Have a wonderful day my happy friends.

Trina, your tabletop decor is gorgeous and I especially love the dishes, which have an elegant retro look.
