Spring weather has finally arrived which also means layering.
I’m sure most of you can relate, you head out in the mornings with the air still on the chilly side, knowing by midday the temperature could easily rise 10-30 degrees, and then dip again come evening. And yet you still want to dress according to the weather and the season.
I, for one, actually love this time of year because you get to have some fun with layering.
Here’s one example of spring time layering.
-Begin by picking out a simple pair of pants (I chose a pair of cream chino’s ) and fun and shirt, one that can easily stand alone but also simple enough to layer with.
This season you can’t go wrong with stripes (and you can find them at any store in just about any color).
-Second step is to find a layering piece, possibly one that is light weight so you can also layer on top of it for an added layer of warmth or texture or color.
I decided to go with this bright pink linen blend cardigan for the little POP of color it brought to the outfit.
-Third step is to layer with a jacket that will actually keep you warm during those early mornings and when the sun begins to set.
Isn’t layering just a whole lot of fun?
As always my friends thanks for dropping by. Have a most wonderful day.
