I can’t promise I’ll be giving you fun gift ideas on a weekly basis but I’ll surely do my best in sharing the ideas that pop into my head.
I don’t know about you but when my birthday rolls around I certainly enjoy the tradition of celebrating with cake and ice-cream, I mean really, what’s a birthday without cake and ice-cream, right?
So when I spotted this adorable dish towel (@ anthropologie) I knew it would make a fun birthday gift.
Here’s a few ideas on how to gift this adorable themed towel.
You can simply roll and tie it with a cute bow and gift tag.
You can buy a cake plate to go along with the theme. I love how the pale pink looks with the towel. You can easily add
other objects like a cake server.
Here’s another color of cake plate I adore with the towel. This time I simply added some gold shredded fillers and then wrapped it all up nice a pretty for delivering.
Now if you’re really ambitious you can bake a three layer cake and tie the towel onto a card.
(I love it when my adult kids and nieces and or nephews request funfetti cake, is there anything more delightful than biting into a homemade funfetti cake?)
Some ideas I didn’t get photo’s of but have also used; buy a cake mix, frosting, and candles and package them together with the towel. You can do this with a cute paper bag or place them on a cake plate as well.
By the way, I’m always on the look out for fun cake plates, but I usually find most of mine at Homegoods (like the pink one).
As always my friends, thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful day.
