I know, another blog post on what one packs and wears while traveling. But if you’re anything like myself I actually like these posts and find at least one helpful tip every time I read one. So, with that being said, I thought I would share the other outfits I took on my last little trip. As you saw last week I stepped out of my norm and packed my white blazer with a full on spring outfit, I just needed bit of spring in my life at the time. The other items I packed were right back to my norm and capsule way of traveling.
I always travel light and with a carry-on. I can’t remember the last time I checked luggage. Along with my khaki’s I took along some black leggings, that was it for pants. Black leggings are the best for traveling, they don’t wrinkle and they will hide any dirt they may appear along the way, plus they’re so easy to mix an match with.
I wore this outfit Monday morning while enjoying Dirftwood Beach again (we traveled here last year if you want so see the gorgeous picture, click here).
Simple and easy attire:
Black leggings (Ann Taylor)
White button down tunic (Eileen Fisher)
Scarf (local boutique)
What is so nice about this basic outfit is later in the day when we traveled down to the Florida coast and the temperature was warmer, I could trade the cardigan and scarf for this lightweight vest.
And on a side note, while my hubby attends his business meetings and I’m left by myself I usually either walk around site seeing and picture taking or better yet, totally relaxing with a good book or notebook in hand to write down some inspiration thoughts.
This is what I wore on the plane (same black leggings, denim tunic, same cardigan and booties)
My other mix and match I wore (grey merino over size pullover, mint oversize long sleeve tee, and either the leopard booties or my patent leather vans).
I’ve probably mentioned this before, but I’m a roller when packing, meaning I roll all my items when placing them in my suitcase. What about you, are you a roller or a folder? My hubby is a folder and I can’t seem to convert him.
As always my friends, thanks for dropping by. Any fun travel plans coming your way, if so what and how are you packing?
