Normally when I think of dressing for a day out in the winter snow, I’ll either pull on a nice cozy sweater or a flannel shirt and pair them over a warm pair of leggings or skinny jeans. But today pants just weren’t on my radar, instead I chose some trusty warm tights to keep my legs warm and pulled on a very comfy dress, which paired wonderfully with this fun plaid flannel shirt.
And funky military style boots.
By adding a scarf I could easily tie the shirt around my waist and still be ok (for a few minutes) out doors, but this would be great for movie night later.
And since the sun was out the warmth from the scarf and flannel combined was all I need for a little walk in thise beautiful snow covered area.
I’ve also realized that by covering head, it also adds a layer of warmth and the added bonus of not having to worry if snow decides to fall from the trees and ruin any type of hair style.
Oh, I do love where I live!
So about you, do you pair your flannels with dresses or skirts too?
