I’m at the stage in my life where, as my blogging friend, Patti at not dead yet style , calls it, “Fun Employed”.
This kind of employment requires the dressing standard of casual, comfy, yet still stylish attire.
Some of my favorite and most reached for basic items happen to be . . .
A WHITE TEE OR BUTTON DOWN + JEANS + A GREY SWEATER, CARDIGAN OR BLAZE + ONE SIMPLE NECKLACE.
Thought it might be fun to show you how I pair these four basic pieces.
For this outfit I’m wearing an oversized tee, grey cardigan, andboyfriend jeans. I chose to add just one long necklace with some extra colors as an accessory.
And for a fun edgy pop, some bright ankle socks.
I’m seriously in love with these new over sized flowy tee’s from banana republic.
For a more sophisticated or classy look, I can swith to a longer grey sweater and high heeled booties.
And for a menswear or tailored look, I opt for my brogue’s . . .
A white button down and grey blazer and switch out the necklace for a messenger bag.
These three basic pieces can make my “fun employment” quite enjoyable.
Talking about added accessories, go visit Jill or Adrienne for their monthly HIWM series, it’s all about how to wear necklaces this month.
