When my kiddos were young I would carefully choose their outfits and lay them on their beds ready for the next day. (Yes, this was when they were way too young to think for themselves about this) But, let me tell you, I had so much fun doing this, especially on Sundays for church service, where I could kind of sort of dress us all a little color coordinating without anyone really taking notice. Unfortunately for me (but good for them) they both aquired a mind, opinion, and style of their own.
As I walked out the door this morning, accompanied by my son (who recently returned home from college for the summer) I took a double take at what he had chosen to wear. And I quickly thought, Wow, he has a good mind and opinion and style. Then as we sat together I noticed we were the perfectly matching mother and son, some things must rub off naturally.
It took some bribing but I finally talked him into allowing me to do some photo’s for a mother-son post.
For those of you who know us well, I will totally admit, Riley learned everything about sports (basketball, golf, baseball, etc from Par but I I take great pride in knowing he did learn something from his mother as well.
As always, my friends, thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful day!
