Since my last post was all about “Getting Golden” with some treats, I decided I might as well join in with some appropriate attire.
Now, we all know GOLD kind of speaks for itself so I usually keep it simple when wearing this.
Here’s a few ways I use a bit of GOLD.
I begin with a simple tee . . .
With this fun white tee, I paired it with some old-school flared jeans, gold skinny belt and junky neckless.
For some added spark and glam and for going out I like to throw on this black pinstripe blazer trimmed with its own set of gold and bronze.
With this really simple black tee I can pair it with this easy going skirt and leggings paired with gold flats.
or just let my hair down and throw on the denim and bright cords.
Getting a little Golden is kind of fun once in a while.
Love to hear and see how you use your golden touches.
As always my friends, thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful day.
I’m joining Patti for Visible Monday (maybe some other gal’s are getting golden there).
</pLinking up on Tuesday with Lauren at style elixir.
Also linking up with Shelley at stillblondeafteralltheseyears for the fun weekly fashionista style hop.

Whoa… that heart tee is stunning. I absolutely adore it and it looks fabulous on you! Gold is sort of our thing on our blog! We always, always craft with it, and my house is decorated with a lot of it, but I can’t say I wear it much, besides my jewelry. Think it’s time to take another look!

Love your gold touches! I saw a gold baseball jacket the other day that I just fell in love with. xoxo
trinagrandinetti says
And you didn’t bring that jacket home with you?
Patti @ NotDeadYet Style says
You are gorgeous, and so youthful, I cannot believe you are past 40 yet. Love the Rock tee, and all these pieces. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday! xo
trinagrandinetti says
Oh Patti, you sure know how to make an older gal feel young and fabulous, especially when I’m past 50 now and at times (especially mornings) really feel it.
Happiness at Mid Life says
Great tees. The little puff sleeves on the white one is just so fun. My favorite is the last outfit – something about hot pink and leopard just gets me every time 🙂

And why doesn’t that surprise me (you with pink and leopard, haha)?
nofearoffashion says
Wow… You do have lovely gear in your closet! Great T-shirts. And I am in awe over the jacket. The photo with the white T and the jacket is my favourite look of them all (my classic side). Màn …that is nice!

Thank you, thank you. I do consider this my all time favorite (classic) jacket to grab when I need to dress up the jeans. I seriously think I bought this little treasure at least 10-12 years ago.

never through it out. Unless you can post it overseas hahaha

I like your way of using gold as casual. I like especially the look with striped skirt is beautiful. Love the oufit with skirt and leather jacket with gold, feet, and heart. The pink pants are cute.
trinagrandinetti says
Thank you Josep-Maria, I too, think its fun to use gold in casual ways. In fact using gold is just a great way to dress up any outfit, right?
Glenda Harrison (SoWhattoTwenty) says
Each look is fantastic. However, you look quite amazing in the first look. That’s the way to do Jeans and T-shirt 🙂
trinagrandinetti says
Thank you Glenda, It’s always fun to find a way to dress up the jeans and T-shirt, don’t you think?
Spashionista says
Love it, love it, love it! You have a knack for looking edgy without looking too junior in the process. I’d kill for those pink pants! 😉

I think you definitely need to get you a pair of these pink pants! As for the looking edgy without too junior, thank you for the compliment. My motto I usually use is “could-ya, would-ya, should-ya” it seems to work for me.
Also thank you for the sweet nomination, I’ll get on that this weekend.

You are sooooo sweet, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I adore following your process. You’re inspiring me to start with a simple tee, which would be totally different than launching with a hat. Change is good!
trinagrandinetti says
I can’t wait to see you in a Tee. Although, I have a notion it will be quite splendid and glamorous.
Jan Graham-McMillen says
I just love it when you keep it simple, Trina!
Beautiful, and you look 16 … 21 tops. Divine!
I just found a thick gold (tone!) chain bracelet that I’m completely obsessed with. It shines and is simple at the same time. I’ll need to take it off, someday, I’m sure!
trinagrandinetti says
Oh, I must see that bracelet! Don’t you just love an accessory that can go with just about anything? Years ago when silver or white gold took over, I was so tempted to replace my wedding ring, but the sentimental value took hold and I am so grateful I stayed with my original gold one.
ariane says
Trina- i love how you wear your gold, what an artist you are with clothes!
My favorite is the heart with the skirt – I can see myself wearing that outfit!

I can definitely see you wearing that outfit, it is right up your ally.

I adore both of those t-shirts. I really love the pink jeans and that whole outfit. Sexy, hip, artistic…it has it all.
