WHAT’S THE WINTER HOLIDAY SEASON WITHOUT A LITTLE PLAID ???
It only takes one simple item of plaid to have a whole lot of fun.
I TOOK THIS ONE SIMPLE MERINO SWEATER (from jcrew outlet) and played dress up by . . .
pairing it with my black and white stripe skirt (white house black market), patent leather bow belt and lots of pearls.
THIS TIME I dressed it for play time by . . .
pairing it with my boyfirend jeans (joe jeans), booties, puffy jacket (eddie bauer) and a simple gold necklace. Oh, and the much needed hat.
BUT . . .
IF I WERE 25 YEARS YOUNGER I WOULD HAVE MY SIMPLE ITEM OF PLAID BY THIS INCREDIBLY CUTE PENCIL SKIRT.
Worn by my daughter
TORI paired it with a denim button down, cute bow tie (which is actually a headband, you all need to try this trick), and a fur vest.
It also doesn’t hurt to add that perfect red lipstick and funky glasses.
AND . . .
IF I WERE 51 YEARS YOUNGER I WOULD HAVE MY ITEM OF PLAID BE THIS ADORABLE DRESS
(baby gap), paired with tan tights, matching headband and a tan pea coat.
Worn by granddaughter Molly
NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL A DAY OF PLAYING WITH PLAID.
AS ALWAYS MY FRIENDS, THANKS FOR DROPPING BY, HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
Would love to hear how you’re playing with your plaid.
In fact, you could head over to Spy Girl where Anne has posted some fun options of plaids.
or over to Patti’s for Visible Monday to see what all the other gal’s are visibly up to this week.
