I’ll call this ‘SHOW AND TELL’ because I would never consider myself an expert at this, I simply find it to be a fun and creative way of dressing. Since I’ve had several friends email asking how I put together some of my crazy patterns, I thought I would ‘SHOW AND TELL’ my process.
IT’S EASY AND SIMPLE . . .
FIRST . . . I CHOOSE ONE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING WITH A PATTERN
-This time it’s my burgandy seersucker capris pants-
SECOND . . . I TAKE THIS ITEM AND GO THROUGH MY CLOSET PULLING ITEMS THAT HAVE THE SAME COLOR TONES.
THIRD . . . I ASSEMBLE DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS ON MY BED
Some pattern mixing need to be anchored with a solid color or object, like a leather belt
or a solid cardigan
THE TWO I CHOSE TO WEAR . . .
I COULDNT’E RESIST THE FUN ANCHOR OF NEON
AND SINCE THIS HAS A LOT GOING ON, (with patterns and texture) THE LEATHER BELT AS WELL AS LEATHER SANDALS WERE MY ANCHOR.
BUT, THE BEST IS WHEN YOU CAN ANCHOR IT ALL TOGETHER WITH A FUN HAT AND
JOIN THE WONDERFUL AND STYLISH JUDITH FOR HER MONTHLY HAT ATTACK.
AS ALWAYS, MY FRIENDS, THANKS FOR DROPPING BY, HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
I’m linking up today with Lauren for her weekly style session.
