It seems I am the only one without a maxi dress or skirt this season… I love them and I am looking for a not too formal one but haven’t found the right one yet.
Yours is amazing, I love the pattern and colours.
Beautiful look, Trina!

Annette, you would look so lovely in a maxi. Love the clutch.

Ni, I am the second one without a maxi dress and I am not going to buy one either. I quite like them and they are, of course very comfortable in summer, but I bought so many summer clothes and we are having such a bad spring and summer that there will not be enough days to wear everything boohoo.. No more summer clothes.
But dear Trina, you look lovely in it. I prefer the combination with the striped shirt. Amazing how well this top mixes with the skirt. Because it shows us your lovely waist I prefer it to the mustard yellow top.
And you are not showing any shoes….! That is a first.
trinagrandinetti says
Boohoo is right. Sorry to hear about your weather because the maxi’s are an easy and fun attire for summer. You noticed the no- shoe pictures, what’s with that, right? Hubby missed this time, haha.
nofearoffashion says
I never realised that, but your husband takes all the pictures? Wow! How lucky we are with our men, aren’t we?
trinagrandinetti says
Yes, we sure are!

Always elegant and attractive, with any length of skirt. I really love my this skirt, the print is gorgeous. I love wearing the striped sweater. I really like your necklace.
trinagrandinetti says
You are soooo sweet. My necklace is a great vintage fine, thanks for noticing.

You look cute in that hat!
trinagrandinetti says
I am getting better at donning a hat, thank you for helping with this.

hi, I’m not into Maxis and I don’t know why. Just no big deal. It may be that I haven’t worn a semi long skirt for about 15 yrs because the heel of my shoe caught my hem and I fell down about 4 stairs of a flight of 6 total. hmmmmm? that’s it.
trinagrandinetti says
Probably a good reason to stay away from them. Thanks for dropping by, I’m on my way to check out your blog.

That skirt is amazing!! It looks as though it’s made from different patterned fabrics? I love the combinations. As you probably know, I wear maxi skirts and dresses more than almost anything else. They just feel good to me, and I have the luxury of being able to wear anything I want most of the time. You look beautiful!!!
trinagrandinetti says
Jean, you’re absolutely right, the skirt is made from different patterned fabrics. I agree with you about maxi’s. I also have the luxury of being able to wear what I want most of the time (a lot of it is spent in gym shorts and tee shirts) I tend to get a lot of cleaning and gardening done in those, but I probably wont blog those, haha. I do find myself wearing more and more maxi’s now days.
nofearoffashion says
Haha, would not mind seeing you in shorts and T-shirt, slaving away..LOL
trinagrandinetti says
Well, I just might need to do a post on “how I spend most of my real time” haha.
jangrahammcmillen says
You look wonderful, in stripes and sheers! Pretty choices all.
I’m such a stub of a woman that I rarely wear maxi’s … I like them better in winter with a sweater and a boot, but I’m not sure they work particularly well.
trinagrandinetti says
I would think anything would work on you, you’re just that kind of woman.
woodlucker says
Pretty skirt Trina….I like it with both tops. I have a few maxi skirts, you are inspiring me to bring them out. Lovely pattern on your, looks great with golden tones.

trinagrandinetti says
Oh, please bring them out, I would love to see the inspiring surroundings you find for one of your maxi’s.
The Style Crone says
The maxi print is very playful, as are you with your pattern mixing perfection. The sheer mustard top brings a totally different feel. You are gorgeous in both combinations!
I have a number of maxis and I think I should do a closet search after your inspiring post.
trinagrandinetti says
Yes, I think a closet search is a must. I would love to see one or all of your maxi’s plus the hat that would accompany it.
